Use these official channels for the most requested Ouray County records:

- Criminal history and rap sheets: use the Colorado Bureau of Investigation
- Sheriff incident records: submit the Sheriff's required electronic criminal justice records form
- Booking and jail records: contact Montrose County Jail booking at 970-252-4072
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement and record sealing: file with the court that heard the case
The local law enforcement contact is the Ouray County Sheriff's Office, 421 6th Avenue, P.O. Box 585, Ouray, CO 81427, 970-325-7272. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Court counter hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
